YEREVAN. – Our armaments and the capacities needed by the Armed Forces to accomplish their tasks have been increased. Armenia’s Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan said this in a conversation with journalists today.

"They are dozens of percent," he added. "That is to say, our capacities have greatly increased."

According to Tonoyan, more than 40 percent of the country’s military units have already switched to the new format of food provision.

Journalists inquired when the next batch of SU-30 fighter aircrafts would arrive; he responded in short: "Soon."

Asked what to expect this year and how the army will get out of the situation, Tonoyan said: "More than strong."
