Four members of Armenia’s opposition Adekvad party have been apprehended, said a party member Lilit Tumanyan on Tuesday.

According to her, they are going to appeal to the head of Standing Committee on Protection of Human Rights and Public Affairs Naira Zohrabyan.

"What is happening today will have not only internal political consequences, but also external ones," Tumanyan said.

According to the latest data, now there are four party members at the police - Konstantin Ter-Nakalyan, Artur Danielyan, Grigor Minasyan and Azat Adamyan, Tumanyan noted.

As reported earlier, Narek Malyan, Armenian activist, the head of the VETO public-political movement, was detained Tuesday on suspicion of illegal possession or carrying of weapons. He was released after a while as no weapons had been found.
