YEREVAN. Three people were killed, one injured following a car accident on Yerevan-Sevan highway on May 29.

The accident occurred at 10:30 p.m. local time, as Mercedes Benz hit a tree and overturned. Rescuers arrived at the scene and pulled out the dead bodies from the crashed vehicle.

Police identified two of the victims as Andranik Galstyan, 23 and Hrachik Mkrtchyan, 25. The third victim was a female passenger, photo journalist Gagik Shamshyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The accident occurred in the same road section, where Armenian MP Melik Gasparyan died in car accident in 2009.
