Multiple Olympic champion, world famous gymnast Albert Azaryan’s daughter, Zhanna Azaryan-Sargsyan died today. This is reported on the Facebook page of Nigol Aghbalian School where 64-year-old Zhanna Azaryan-Sargsyan was teaching. The teacher died from the coronavirus and had underlying diseases.

It should be mentioned that Albert Azaryan’s wife, Elizaveta Azaryan died four days ago and was buried on October 7.

The Nigol Aghbalian School issued a statement expressing condolences. “The pupils loved the smart and hard-working teacher who held interesting and unforgettable lessons. Her colleagues also can’t picture the school without Zhanna. We express our deep condolences to Zhanna’s family, relatives and close ones. The generations of her students and her colleagues will always remember her as a good friend, a good person, a good citizen and the best teacher. Rest in peace, our dear Zhanna,” the condolence message reads.
