A man wounded about five people with pneumatic weapons in the Canadian city of Victoriaville, according to the Journal de Montréal, citing police.

According to eyewitnesses, the suspect held an object resembling a gun in his hands, and also threatened people on his way.

A 36-year-old man was walking around in the sector, firing lead projectiles. About five people were injured in these actions, and some may have received minor injuries, said Cristina Lopez, a spokeswoman for the Quebec Provincial Police.

The law enforcement officers detained the suspect, who then appeared before the court. He was charged with using an imitation firearm in an armed attack.
