Deputy head of Rossotrudnichestvo, Pavel Shevtsov, has expressed hope that the Armenian leadership will make prudent decisions to maintain the presence of Rossotrudnichestvo centers in the country.

In light of concerns regarding attempts to undermine Russia's influence in Armenia, Shevtsov emphasized the importance of continued collaboration and humanitarian relations between Armenia and Russia.

He noted that there is significant interest in developing humanitarian relations between the two nations, and Rossotrudnichestvo has plans for further development in the coming year. Shevtsov hopes that the ongoing situation will not hamper the activities of the center.

These comments come after Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated that Armenia has a powerful lobby of non-governmental organizations aiming to diminish Russia's influence in the country.
