A large fire engulfed an area in Yerevan on September 26, drawing attention from afar. At around 05:10, the 911 National Crisis Management Center of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia received an alert regarding the fire at 22/2 Vardanants Street, requesting assistance from firefighters, as reported by Shamshyan.com.

Operational units from the No. 3 and later No. 8 fire-rescue squads of Yerevan swiftly responded to the scene. Patrolling officers evacuated several vehicles parked near the fire.

Upon arrival, it was determined that the fire had originated in an area belonging to Aram Tovmasyan, where household waste and the rear of a SAZ vehicle were ablaze.

Firefighters successfully contained and extinguished the fire, preventing further spread. Preliminary information suggests that no casualties were reported.

Representatives from the Electric Networks of Armenia company also attended the scene. Investigations are ongoing to ascertain the cause of the fire.
