Armenia’s Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan met with Charles Fries, Deputy Secretary General for Common Security and Defense Policy and Crisis Response of the European External Action Service on Tuesday.
According to a press release by the Security Council, they discussed the humanitarian situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, referring to the issue of refugees. They also exchanged thoughts on the regional and extra-regional security situation.
Armen Grigoryan and Charles Fries highlighted the presence and activity of the EU civilian observation mission in Armenia as an important achievement in the development of RA-EU relations.
They also discussed the potential cooperation within the framework of common security and defense policy.
