Zhoghovurd daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes: The meeting between RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev is scheduled in Granada on October 5. This became clear on September 24 when RA Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan's departure to Brussels was announced. According to the official message, on September 26, he met with H. Hajiyev, aide to the President of Azerbaijan, to prepare that meeting.

The meeting gave the participants an opportunity to also exchange opinions on a possible meeting of the [two] leaders within the framework of the European Political Community’s third summit, which is scheduled for October 5, 2023 in Granada. And, at that meeting, it was noted that Armenia and Azerbaijan are interested in using the possible meeting in Granada to continue the efforts aimed at normalizing relations. Matters related to the delimitation of borders, security, communications, humanitarian issues, and the peace treaty are expected be discussed at the meeting to be held on October 5.

What is more, it is noted that clear actions and decisive compromise solutions are needed in all directions of the normalization process; that is, serious decisions can be taken at the expected meeting of the [two] leaders on October 5.
