In 2024, 555 billion drams (approx. US$1.4 billion) will be allocated to cover the costs of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia; this amount is 7.3 percent more than the 2023 figure. Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan announced this at Thursday’s Cabinet session of the government, as he presented the draft of Armenia’s 2024 state budget.
