Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan received Bright Kupemba, the newly-appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Zimbabwe (residence in Tehran), on September 28, on the occasion of handing over the copy of credentials.

Congratulating on the occasion of assuming the important mission, Deputy Minister Vahan Kostanyan expressed his conviction that the Ambassador will contribute to the further strengthening and deepening of Armenia-Zimbabwe relations.

Both sides noted the significant unfulfilled potential of bilateral cooperation, and expressed readiness to take efforts towards attracting investments, establishing trade-economic and educational-cultural ties.

Deputy Minister Vahan Kostanyan briefed the Ambassador on the current security and humanitarian situation in the region.
