The matter of signing a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia remains topical. Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov told reporters about this, RIA Novosti reports.
“It's certainly appropriate. In addition, there are of course plans to develop transport communication and logistics in the region. It is extremely important for Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Russia. We hope that this work will continue," said Peskov, answering the question whether, according to the Kremlin, the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia could end after the announcement of the termination of the existence of Nagorno Karabakh as a republic, and whether the matter of signing a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia remains topical.
