French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during her visit to Armenia on October 3.

During her visit, Minister Colonna, alongside her Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan, will visit refugees from Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) who were forced to flee their homes following Azerbaijan's offensive on September 19.

The French Foreign Ministry has stated that Minister Colonna will reiterate France's commitment to cooperation with Armenia. She will reaffirm France's support for Armenia's sovereignty and territorial integrity while remaining vigilant on these matters. Together with Armenian authorities, she will explore concrete ways to enhance cooperation across various sectors.

Minister Catherine Colonna will highlight France's efforts toward achieving a just and lasting peace in the Caucasus and ensuring the rights of the Armenian population in Nagorno-Karabakh. France's commitment is reflected in the tripling of humanitarian aid provided, which has reached 12.5 million euros since the beginning of the year.
