A court hearing has scheduled for Thursday in Azerbaijan, in the fake criminal case against Armenian captive Gagik Voskanyan.

Voskanyan is accused of preparing to carry out terrorist and sabotage acts, according to Azerbaijani media.

On August 16, Voskanyan, who is a reservist and was participating in a training camp of the Armenian army, had left his combat position.

Later, the Azerbaijani side announced that they had captured him.

On August 18, the Azerbaijani court illegally detained Voskanyan.

Subsequently, Azerbaijan, in its traditional style, concocted a criminal case against him, as well as other Armenian captives, under several articles of the Azerbaijani criminal code.
