I can't say that banks in Armenia make super profits. The governor of the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA), Martin Galstyan, stated this in the National Assembly Wednesday, during a meeting with MPs.
"I would use the term ‘super profit’ carefully," Galstyan noted.
He called to start with the invested capital in order to make a logical economic calculation.
The CBA chief said that all services in Armenia have recorded a double-digit growth.
"The same SMS messages that banks send to their customers have become more expensive," he emphasized.
In addition, banks cannot but invest in technological development, added Galstyan.
