Rosen Markov, Head of the marginal Party of Bulgarian Men, opposing broadcasting of news in Turkish language in Bulgaria discovered a new way of struggle. Markov attempted a hara-kiri in front of the Bulgarian Parliament, Interhaber reports. Policemen used electroshock to neutralize him.

As NEWS.am reported earlier, November 11 Markov tried to set himself on fire near Bulgarian National TV building. The protestors supporting him were carrying “No to the news in Turkish on the BNT. They are an outrage. Who needs them?” banners.

In 2009 Bulgarian Foreign Minister Rumyana Zheleva stated that intends to appeal to Turkish government with a demand on compensation pay to Bulgarians evicted from Turkey in 1912-1920.
