On Dec. 8, representatives of the U.S. Embassy in Armenia and RA Government attended the opening ceremony of the National Bureau of Expertise second office in Yerevan. The building, repaired with the assistance of U.S. Embassy, was inaugurated by U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Marie L. Yovanovitch and Prosecutor General Aghvan Hovsepyan.

U.S. Government allocated U.S. $1.275.000 for the completion of repairing works, Armenian U.S. Embassy Press Centre informs NEWS.am.
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers jointly with local CESCO Ltd. reconstructed the building.

The project implemented construction-structural assessment, repairing of 3 floors, water, communication and electricity supply, fire control system installments. The building is also equipped with security system, that enables control of entry to labs and provides secure preservation of the proofs.
Expertise on civil and criminal cases will be carried out in new updated laboratories.
