Turkey’s attempts to link Armenia-Turkey relations with Karabakh conflict settlement are doomed to failure, RA President Serzh Sargsyan stated at Dec.10 joint press conference with Latvian President Valdis Zatlers.

According to Sargsyan, peace and stability will be established in the region once Armenian-Turkish relations normalize, and Turkey has to realize this. The whole responsibility for normalization or failure in doing so falls on both Armenia and Turkey. Meanwhile, RA President said that Turkey tries to link Armenia-Turkey relations’ normalization with Nagorno-Karabakh issue, “however, these attempts are doomed to failure.”
