Two Russian films “The Dandies” (Stilyagi) by Valery Todorovsky and “Ward No.6” by Karen Shakhnazarov got short-listed for “Golden Globe” award in “Best Foreign film” category, “Yerevan” Armenian Diaspora paper in Russia reads.

Overall there are 69 films entered the selection process. Inter alia the winner of Cannes festival “White ribbon” by Michael Haneke as well as “Prophet” by Jacques Audiard and others.

“Ward No.6” was also nominated for Oscar by Russia. Shortlist of the nominees for Hollywood Foreign Press Association prize was announced December 15, whereas the 67th ceremony held on January 17, 2010.
