Today, December 21, is 130th anniversary of Joseph Stalin. Russian Communist Party Members will lay flowers on Stalin’s grave at the Kremlin wall, Echo of Moscow reports. Human rights activists recall that the whole fault for millions repressed and died in camps rests with him.

Meanwhile, according to public opinion poll conducted by Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VCIOM) most Russians think highly of Stalin’s leadership skills, whoever the respondents are reluctant to see a similar a politician ruling the country. Of all pollees, 37% of Russians are positive towards Stalin, 26% respect him, 8% have liking for him and 3%-admire the aggressor. Only third of respondents replied that Stalin is a savage tyrant, guilty of annihilation of millions innocent people.

24% of the pollees have negative attitude towards the leader, 13% — dislike, 6% — fear and 5%-hate him.
