Russia is making every effort to settle Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Russian Federation Council Vice Speaker Svetlana Orlova stated in Dec. 22 interview with Azerbaijani Trend News agency.

According to her, good results are expected in the near future.

“Personally, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev as the head of the country furthers efforts for the conflict resolution,” Orlova outlined.

Russian delegation headed by Russian Federation Council Vice Speaker Svetlana Orlova arrived in Azerbaijan to participate in the 8th meeting of the Russia-Azerbaijan inter-Parliamentary Commission. Issues on trade and economic, scientific and technological and cultural-humanitarian cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia will be discussed in the course of the meeting, ITAR-TASS informs.
