January 11, Israeli Foreign Minister responded to the critics by Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan and stated that Turkey has no right to give lessons of ethics to Israel and its armed forces, source in the Israeli Foreign Ministry informs.

Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon handed a note of protest to the Turkish Ambassador to Israel on anti-Israeli TV show that depicts Mossad agents as baby-snatchers.

In the course of the meeting Ayalon refused to shake the hand of Turkish Ambassador Oguz Celikkol.

According to The Jerusalem Post, Ayalon refused to apologize for his conduct. The daily quotes deputy Foreign Minister as saying, “I won’t apologize. It’s the Turks who should for what Erdogan said and for the television series,” Ayalon said. “We are merely setting boundaries.”

At the joint press conference with Lebanese Premier Saad Hariri, Erdogan informed that Israel applies disproportionate force against Palestinians as well as threatens peace and stability in the Middle East.

Erdogan underlined that they would never stay silent on Israeli violations of Lebanese airspace and territorial waters.
