Armenian foreign trade turnover in Jan-Nov. 2009 reduced by 28.5% ($3bn 570.8m) as compared with the same period in 2008.

According to the RA National Statistical Service, trade turnover with CIS countries fell by 21.9%, making $1bn 65m, whereas turnover with EU states reduced by 39.7% and totaled $1bn 76m for the same period.

According to Business 24 daily news, as of Jan.- Nov., 2009, 30% of Armenia’s foreign trade turnover falls on CIS states (Russia — 22.8%), EU states — 30.2%, China — 7%, U.S. — 4.8% and Turkey — 4.5%.
