YEREVAN. – Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received a delegation led by Archbishop Khajag Barsamian, Primate of the Diocese of Armenian Church of America (Eastern) and President of the Fund for Armenian Relief (FAR).

“We greatly underscore the activities of FAR, which has carried out numerous humanitarian and charity work in Armenia,” the PM noted.

In his turn, Archbishop Barsamian stated that FAR stands ready to continue its mission, including drawing investments, the Government press service informs. 

Subsequently, FAR Board Chairman Randy Sapah-Gulian briefed the Premier on FAR’s service sector investment program to be implemented in Armenia. Sargsyan assured that the Government encourages such programs and is ready to assist them.

Sapah-Gulian also informed that the center that will be built next year in Armenia will provide 400 to 1,000 jobs in the service sector and serve consumers who communicate in English and Russian. In his turn, the PM suggested to focus on Arabic-speaking consumers, too.      

The interlocutors also reflected on the Fund for Armenian Relief’s other activities.
