YEREVAN. – Responding to the query: Considering the fact that primarily the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) is raising the matter of changing the Prime Minster, can we say the PAP wishes to seize the PM’s post? Former Deputy Minister of Defense Vahan Shirkhanyan said as follows to 168 Zham daily:
“Let them want, let them demand. [In its turn,] Azerbaijan wants [Nagorno-]Karabakh for so many years. It wants, it demands, but then what?
Political developments have their rules. Had the [political] parties made political analyses, they would not have made such statements. Let them analyze and see whether or not this is possible. Otherwise, it’s unacceptable to just tell the people ‘let’s change the government, change the president!’”
