BAKU. - If Azerbaijan is able to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict during my diplomatic mission, I’ll be the happiest man in the world, US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Richard Morningstar stated, APA News Agency of Azerbaijan reports.           

The Ambassador noted that he will exert all efforts so that the conflict is settled within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group.

“We remain on the idea of peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict and do everything we can along the way. The purpose of the US government is a peaceful solution to the problem. From conversations with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, I can confidently say that the solution to this conflict is a priority issue for the United States,” the US Ambassador said.
