YEREVAN. – Each and every opposition political force in Armenia has great ambitions, and I doubt it will be possible to nominate a single opposition candidate for next year’s presidential elections, Democratic Party of Armenia (DPA) Chairman Aram Sargsyan said during a press conference on Tuesday.

Commenting on the results of a survey which sociologist Aharon Adibekyan announced recently, and according to which Prosperous Armenia Party leader Gagik Tsarukyan is the most preferred single opposition presidential candidate, Sargsyan suggested to “leave Adibekyan’s studies to his own conscience.”   

He recalled the existing systems that are busy with presenting the “necessary” preliminary results, which ultimately become final results. 

And speaking about second President Robert Kocharyan’s possible nomination, DPA leader noted that it is difficult to imagine the former President as a “uniting” candidate.
