YEREVAN. – Armenia’s law enforcement is investigating a criminal case in which Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) member, former Health Minister Harutyun Kushkyan and PAP member, former Urban Development Minister Vardan Vardanyan must be questioned as witnesses, at the very least, Zhoghovurd daily reports.

“Apparently, the case is filed on the grounds that during their tenure these officials had allowed for major misuse in terms of the ‘kickbacks’ which [President] Serzh Sargsyan had mentioned. The Prosecutor General’s Office and the Police, however, so far denied the existence of this criminal case,” Zhoghovurd writes.
