YEREVAN. – Armenian News-NEWS.am posts Armenian Parliament speaker, ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) MP Hovik Abrahamyan’s open letter addressed to the opposition Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannisian with some extractions.

“RPA assesses positively constructive and objective approaches of any political party to the election processes and is ready to discuss any arguable offer which is targeted at their improvement and perfection.

In addition, the RPA also claims that initiatives, related to reforms should have positive tendencies and should eliminate the subjective perception of individual phenomena as objective reality, as it is unfair to put subjective assessments of identified patterns of political and legal processes.

We have held parliamentary elections, which received encouraging assessments. They were followed by local elections, which also registered serious progress.

At the same time, we repeat our advice - declarative statements or populist propaganda should not be used as a tool, with which actually implemented political will is questioned,” the open letter reads.
