YEREVAN. – By a vote of 70 for and 6 against, Armenia’s National Assembly on Thursday approved the 2011 State Budget report. 

The Budget revenues were around AMD 880.9 billion, which surpassed the previous year’s indicator by AMD 100.4 billion, or by 12.9 percent. The program indicator was fulfilled by 99.7percent, conditioned by the performance of the official grants which constituted 91.9 percent, or AMD 5.2 billion less than projected.  

The expenditures were AMD 986.5 billion thereby securing a 94.7-percent performance, due to economizing spending on some programs and extending the term of payments for purchases along the lines of separate programs.       

To note, in line with the current exchange rate, US$ 1 is equivalent to approximately AMD 408.
