YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) received information, on Monday at 6:56am, notifying that a road accident had occurred, nearby a downtown capital city Yerevan building, and that there was a casualty and rescuers were needed.  

A rescue squad and a response team were dispatched to the scene, MES press service informs. 

It was found out that a Mercedes and a Grand Cherokee had collided for yet unknown reasons, subsequently, the Mercedes had crashed into the wall of the building and, as a result, the Mercedes’ driver had died on the spot.
