YEREVAN. – The American dollar’s average exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 407/$1, at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Wednesday.

To note, the stock exchange had seen no trading on Tuesday, and the aforesaid exchange rate is a 0.31-percent—or a 1.25-point—gain from the previous trading session on Monday.

It is noteworthy that the offer for the American national currency was very large at the stock exchange, as Wednesday’s sales totaled $7.3 million at NASDAQ OMX Armenia.

Also, the number exchange offices that buy the dollar at an exchange rate of AMD 406/$1 have increased in Armenia’s cash foreign currency market, and it is primarily sold at AMD 408/$1.
