YEREVAN. – The NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange saw no foreign currency trading on Thursday.

The reason was the absence of an offer for the US currency, against the Armenian dram (AMD), and the dollar’s asking exchange rate was at AMD 407/$1.       

Apparently, uncertain market expectations are formed and the exchange rate fluctuations are possible in any direction. 

In Armenia’s cash foreign currency market, however, the American national currency’s buying and selling exchange rates have stabilized at the AMD 406-408/$1 range respectively.
