YEREVAN. – The US national currency was not traded in NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Thursday. Overall, the dollar continues to lose value against the Armenian dram (AMD). 

So, the dollar was offered in the stock exchange at  a rate of AMD 405.99/$1, and its average exchange rate was AMD 406/$1 on Wednesday, but there were no buyers. The American currency’s demand exchange rate did not exceed AMD 405/$1.    

Instead, there was relative activity in the shares market, as a total of twelve such transactions were conducted in NASDAQ OMX Armenia.     

The dollar is bought and sold at the AMD 403-407/$1 range in Armenia’s cash foreign currency market.
