In its 2009 report the RA Ministry of Economy indicated programs providing for tendencies to economic growth.

Among them are:

- launching an investment program of the Zvartnots free economic zone, completing the design work at the agricultural produce export infrastructure, establishing a jewelry trade center;

- launching the construction of a French center of nuclear medicine;

- establishing water production facilities in the Kotayk region by a Swiss investor, and launching the construction of a top hotel in Kilikia, Yerevan.

- opening a jewelry factory of the Indian Firestone company, ensuring diamond-cutting and jewelry production.
