YEREVAN. – It was found out that Armenia’s opposition ARF Dashnaktsutyun Party convenes Supreme Body (SB) sessions usually on Thursdays. But the ARF SB session last week was held on Friday, Hraparak daily reports.   

“The ARF decided on two matters: a) under the current political and social conditions, it will not run for the [forthcoming] presidential elections with its own candidate. To note, the nomination of [ARF MP] Artsvik Minasyan was primarily being discussed prior to this.

b) But it will not boycott the elections. If there is a ‘normal’ candidate who meets their ideological line, they will support [him], if not, they will not run [, but] without thunderous statements about boycotting,” Hraparak writes.
