Moscow backs the dialogue between RA President Serzh Sargsyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated in Jan. 22 press conference.

He expressed a hope that in the course of Sargsyan-Aliyev imminent meeting in Sochi the bilateral dialogue between the Presidents opened in 2009 will continue. “The dialogue was quite intensive, though did not entail any significant breakthrough however definitely enhanced the relations between the two leaders and enabled them to go into the heart of the matters. We actively support continuation of the dialogue,” RIA Novosti quotes Lavrov.
