The Armenians, who were taken hostage in Aleppo, are still alive. One of them, namely, Georges Rabat, has been released, the Syrian-Armenian community reports.  

At the same time, however, another Armenian, by the name of Sako Koznan, was taken hostage on Monday, and from Sarakib city of Syria’s Idlib Province. 

Also, another Armenian, Vartan Khachadourian—who was born in 1968—, was killed just recently from a randomly-shot bullet in Aleppo’s Villa’s district.  

As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, the Syrian opposition rebels on October 29 stopped a civilian bus, which was heading from Aleppo to Beirut, and took ten people hostage. Seven of the hostages are Armenian and three others are Christian Arabs. The opposition rebels demand the release of their 150 followers and threaten to kill the hostages if their demand is not met within three days.
