YEREVAN. – The health condition of Artur Yeghiazaryan, who is one of the military servicemen that were injured as a result of a military truck accident, is no longer life-threatening, and he is gradually recovering, Armenian Defense Minister’s Press Secretary Artsrun Hovhannisyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.   

MOD Central Clinical Military Hospital Neurosurgery Department Head, Medical Service Major Arman Hakobyan told earlier that the conditions of the injured soldiers are not life-threatening, but Artur Yeghiazaryan’s health condition was more severe.      

As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, an Ural-model truck, which was transporting military servicemen, crashed in Karvachar, Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, in the early morning hours of November 2. As a result, some of the servicemen died, whereas others sustained injuries. Specifically, the truck’s driver, Artur Yeremyan, and conscripts Manvel Apijanyan, Sanasar Piloyan, and Gagik Vardanyan lost their lives. 

Names of the fifteen injured are as follows: Karen Avetisyan, Gevorg Gevorgyan, Varazdat Yeghiazaryan, Artur Yeghiazaryan, Sargis Zakaryan, Arman Muradyan, Manuk Khachatryan, Edik Khachatryan, Ashot Mnatsakanyan, Babken Taloyan, Mkhitar Yeremyan, Sanasar Gomtsyan, Davit Harutyunyan, Karen Hovhannisyan, Armenak Sahakyan.

Also, the MOD Investigation Department launched a criminal case, on charges of violating the rules of driving or operating machinery and causing death, with respect to this military truck accident.
