YEREVAN. – Prosperous Armenia Party Chairman Gagik Tsarukyan had won the title of “Man of the Year” in Moscow, Zhoghovurd daily reports.

“[Russian Federation] RF President Vladimir Putin, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko, and Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev likewise have won this title. What’s noteworthy is that the presidents from three CIS countries had become the “Man of the Year,” whereas, from Armenia, this title was given to Tsarukyan.

Commenting on this, [ruling Republican Party] RPA Vice Chairman Galust Sahakyan said: ‘I just heard that such award was given. I believe it is a pleasant thing and there cannot be a political mindset here.’

To note, as per Lragir [news agency], Tsarukyan has bought that award for $30,000,” Zhoghovurd writes.
