Catholicos of Cilicia Aram I received newly appointed Ambassador of Hungary to Lebanon Arpat Rona in Antelias. The Ambassador learnt about the Catholicosate and the Armenian community in Lebanon.
Rona informed His Holiness that he served in Turkey and was aware of the Armenia-Turkey Protocols. In his turn, Aram I noted that the truth of the Genocide has been long established and the imperative for Turkey to recognize it was non-negotiable.
