YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Nature Protection Minister Aram Harutyunyan received director David Morrison of the Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF).

The minister stressed that CNF has considerably facilitated the work being carried out toward the conservation of specially protected nature areas. “With your help, we are carrying out a considerable supervision in the specially protected nature areas [and], as a result, we have recorded positive changes,” Harutyunyan said.

The interlocutors discussed the results of the CNF funding and the work carried out in 2012.

David Morrison likewise noted that primarily positive changes were recorded in these activities, but added that there are still things to do. 

Also, Armenia’s Nature Protection Minister and the Caucasus Nature Fund director discussed the activities envisioned for 2013.
