YEREVAN. – The American Global Post agency publicized the top ten hottest tourism destinations for 2013, and Armenia is among them, Haykakan Zhamanak daily reports. 

“It is noted about our country that, despite its fairly developed tourism infrastructure, Armenia still remains out of the attention of most tourists. By announcing that it is the first [nation] to adopt Christianity, Armenia shows monuments that attest to this. Aside from the churches and the monasteries, Armenia has a beautiful landscape. Here you can meet with good people who always stand ready to welcome tourists and invite them around their [Armenian] barbecue feast table.

It is also informed that there will be no visa requirements for EU citizens as of January 2013, which is yet another reason to not to circumvent Armenia,” Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
