YEREVAN. – Armenia’s National Democratic Union (NDU) party convened a board session on December 1.

The event’s order of the day was the discussion of the current political state of affairs in connection with the country’s presidential elections, which are slated for February 2013, and NDU’s respective position.    

National Democratic Union leader—and Armenian Public Council Chairman—Vazgen Manukyan delivered opening remarks, NDU press service informs.

At the end of the session, it was decided that NDU will not nominate its own candidate for the elections. Also, it was decided to convene an extended board session in January 2013 to clarify the National Democratic Union’s position in connection with the presidential elections.
