STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Foreign Minister Karen Mirzoyan on Thursday visited Armenia’s Embassy in Washington DC., and met with Ambassador Tatul Margaryan and the Embassy staff.  

Following his meeting with the Armenian diplomats, Mirzoyan got together with representatives from the American Armenian organizations and clergy functioning in the US capital city, NKR MFA press service informs. The interlocutors discussed the current phase in the Karabakh-Azerbaijani conflict negotiations. Also, the minister spoke about the steps which the NKR authorities are taking to secure the country’s development.  

In the latter half of the day, the NKR FM attended a closed discussion, which was organized by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and devoted to settlement of the Karabakh conflict.
