Actions are being taken to free Shahe Chaghlassian, who was kidnapped recently in Aleppo, Syria, press secretary Jirair Reisian of the National Primacy of Aleppo of the Armenian Apostolic Church told Armenian News-NEWS.am.     

In his words, Chaghlassian was kidnapped along with his vehicle, and the kidnappers demand a ransom for his release. Work is carried out to free the Armenian.

Also, Reisian informed that even though explosions and shots are heard sometimes in Aleppo, the general situation in the city is much calmer.
