The public disorder, which turned into looting, is continuing in Argentina for the second day. As a result, two people have died and five hundred are arrested.
The unrest started in San Carlos de Bariloche city, on Thursday, and in several other cities, on Friday, NTV reports.
Also, the capital city Buenos Aires authorities sent in special police units to calm hundreds of people that attempted to loot a supermarket, BBC Russian Service informs.
The Argentine government is blaming the trade unions, which support the country’s opposition, for the mass disorder.
To note, it was earlier reported that the looting in Argentina had started while awaiting the “end of the world.”
