YEREVAN.- Armenia’s Finance Minister believes it is unlikely that the second wave of the global crisis will occur.
There is an opinion that new crises will not look like as a U-shaped curve (decline-rise) but L-shaped (long-run decline), Vache Gabrielyan told reporters on Monday.
He said the reason for the second way might be worsening debt crisis in Europe and a number of related political and economic processes.
However, the recent developments in this regard are encouraging. Gabrielyan forecasted significant growth in foreign investments in the Armenian economy next year. The decline of 40% in the past year was more of a short-term trend, conditioned by the actions of a couple of large investors, he added.
