YEREVAN.- There seems to be a wide space, where Armenia and Denmark can build reliable mutually profitable collaboration, Denmark’s honorary consul Armand Pinarbasi told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

He said bilateral relations underwent certain developments with the opening of the Armenian Embassy in Copenhagen and the Danish Consulate in Yerevan. Both Denmark and Armenian Foreign Ministries move forward to the strengthening of good reliable relations within various frameworks. There is obviously potential for promotion of bilateral partnership, due to the historical ties between the two nations and the raised economic interest in both states.

“There are Danish citizens in Armenia who are in permanent contact with Consulate and we have had an opportunity to support their needs already. Also the Consulate is well disposed to accommodate the needs of Danish citizens in Armenia,” he explained.

Armand Pinarbasi, who is also Executive director of Grant Thornton International, noted that the Danish Consulate in Armenia is organizing cultural events.

 “The Danish Consulate in Armenia is in the process of organizing several cultural activities driven to raise awareness on the Danish cultural and historical heritage, such as Organizing concerts with participation of prominent Danish musicians/bands to Armenia, celebration of Danish National Day in Armenia, introducing Danish Galleries to the Armenian art lovers,” he said.
