New Year celebrations are continuing in the world. London held a traditional parade on the occasion of the 2013. Thousands of musicians, dancers and circus performers participated in it, many of them were distinguished with their originality.
Italians met the New Year by jumping from the bridge into the Tiber. The tradition goes back to several decades. This time only five courageous people dared to jump into the river, while audience was indeed large, First Channel informs.
At the same time the Netherlands celebrated the New Year by immersing into the waters of the North Sea. Over 40,000 people registered a record, while the sea was of 8 degrees.
Iceland held massive collection of walrus. After diving into the cold water, the animals hurried to warm themselves in hot springs. The western coast of the U.S. held a parade of lesbians in Pasadena, and over 700,000 people participated in it, NTV informs.
